    Expect a rich, golden brown colour in your bottle of Three Wood. What gives whisky its colour? As the Single Malt matures in the quality bourbon and sherry barrels, a new and complex colour and flavour profile is created over time.

    TO THE NOSE
    Blackcurrant, brown sugar, orange, plum and raisin notes are present in our Three Wood.

    TO THE TONGUE
    Fruit and syrup. Hazelnut with hints of cinnamon and lemon. A butterscotch sweetness adds to the overall complexity.

    A fresh and fruity, smooth whisky with long lasting oaky sweetness.

    TO THE EYE
    In appearance, each bottle has a crisp honey hue. What gives whisky its colour? The maturing process over 12 years as the liquid comes into contact with the barrel. The longer a whisky matures will determine its colour and flavour profile.

    TO THE NOSE
    A Single Malt Scoth Whisky with a distinctive aroma of creme brulee to the nose with a burst of citrus and then the signature nuttiness and green leafiness you would expect from Auchentoshan.

    TO THE TONGUE
    A smooth whisky taste with sweet notes along with hints of tangerine and lime characterise this 12 year old.

    TO THE END
    This particular whisky offer a gingery and slightly dry finish with a pleasant, lingering nuttiness.

    Auchentoshan 18 Years Old
    Matured in American bourbon oak for over eighteen years. The result: a refreshing single malt whisky with the added infusion of ripe citrus and green tea, the warmth of toasted almonds and the signature smooth, delicate, Auchentoshan taste.

    Colour : Deep golden summer barley.
    Aroma : Fresh tobacco leaf – then sweet with a hint of caramelised sugars, green tea and toasted almonds.
    Palate : A floral freshness with sweet barley sugar at first – this gently ebbs to reveal a tangerine zestiness. The palate is left alive and refreshed.
    Finish : A long, lingering and well balanced dram that invigorates the mouth.
